Introduction
According to Government Revenue Department before City District Government there was two districts called District East & Malir, as per population welfare department there is only one district covered with east & Malir.
Both the District are having Urban & Rural areas and there are two industrial Zone, called as Landhi industrial Area and the other called Korangi Industrial Area, due to Industrial Zone there are a no of labour & being migrated time to time.
That there are fruit & vegetable form in the district providing fruit & vegetable for the city of district.
Dry port, Bin Qasim, Pakistan Steel mill and Quaid e- Azam International Air port are One T.B Sanitarium, Dow Medical College, Kiran Hospital, Memon Medical Institute and Atomic Energy Commission also in the jurisdiction of both the district, Expo Centre is situated at Hassan Square in Gulshan-e- Iqbal Town, Thereare many parks for entertainment of public i.e. safari park, Alla Din Park and Sindh Bad Park
